Washed Process
Our coffee cherries are de-pulped, then stored for at least 24 hours, allowing them to ferment. This enhances the flavor profile. They are then washed to remove all the mucilage left. Once clean, they are sun-dried for 4-6 days. Finally they are ready to be deparched and then roasted.

The best coffee I have had in a very long time. It brought me a little piece of home to the states. Arawaka has become my go to coffee.

My wife made the coffee and served it to me and a few of her clients. They all said it was very good. The taste is different and surely gourmet. No after taste. Very smooth and delicious. Normally coffee messes with my throat, but not this one. I enjoyed it. My wife will continue serving it to her clients.

Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
1. Does the coffee have flavor added to it?
No. The flavor listed in the description and on the bag describe the coffee notes. Notes vary from bean to bean depending on many factors. The type of bean (arabica, robusta etc.), the type of soil, altitude and the washing and drying process affect the flavor.
2. Do you ship worldwide?
Yes. The shipping fees change depending on the location, and weight of package. Shipping rates are based on carrier prices.
3. Is Arawaka in Stores?
Currently Arawaka Coffee can be found at a few stores in Puerto Rico. Cosechao, Guaynabo; The Coffee Spot, Aguadilla; El Coqui Tipico, Aguadilla. We will provide updates once we are on more shelves.
4. Do you accept returns.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns once the product has been shipped, because we have strict sanitation practices. However, the order can be cancelled for a full refund before shipment.
5. How long after I order, can I expect my package?
It will take about 3-5 days to get the coffee ready to go, because we roast coffee in small batches on demand. After that, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 14 days depending on the shipping option chosen at check-out and the delivery address.
